It connects customers with independent local restaurants, takeaways and food producers, offering delivery and collection ordering with live order tracking, loyalty rewards and a low flat delivery fee of £3.99 that is passed to the driver in full. Unlike the big national delivery apps, MunchMob charges independent merchants lower commission and keeps money circulating in the local economy instead of feeding distant shareholders.
Every order gives back. Two percent of the eligible order value is donated to the local charity or community cause that each restaurant has chosen to partner with, meaning a single order supports two local organisations at once — the independent food business you ordered from, and a cause just down the road from you.
The platform is for everyone in Suffolk. Customers use it to discover, order and track great local food. Independent food businesses join for fairer fees, a guided onboarding process and merchant tools for menus, live orders and payouts. Local charities and community causes join to receive sustainable, no-effort funding through the giveback pledge. And drivers join for flexible, local delivery work where the delivery fee goes straight to them.

How the 2% Local Giveback works
- Each restaurant chooses an approved local cause — a charity, community interest company or community organisation — to partner with.
- When you place an eligible order, MunchMob calculates 2% of the eligible order value.
- The restaurant contributes that amount to its chosen cause, and every contribution is tracked transparently on the cause's public profile.

MunchMob is launching in Felixstowe, Suffolk. We are onboarding verified independent restaurants and takeaways, partner causes and local drivers ahead of launch — every merchant passes identity, business, FSA food hygiene, bank, menu and contract checks before going live.
